Embracing Loss . . . . a Message of Hope

Sandy SouzaAbout the Author

SANDY SOUZA is a self-professed authority on loss.

Not a great title, however, she will share anything on that topic, and she knows what she is talking about. Sandy was born in Auburn California. She lived in Palos Verdes while starting her 25 years in advertising and marketing in the Los Angeles area. At age 21, Robert Colombatto of DJMC/DBC Advertising hired her after she told him in the interview she wanted his job. He hired her and later dubbed her a beautiful old soul, aptly put as a description of being wise beyond her years due to her quest for survival, starting at age four after the death of her mother. As an adult and after nine years in Southern California, she came back to the Northern California area, where she continued working in marketing. She still lives in Fair Oaks with her son, Anthony. Sandy is quite the entrepreneur in every sense of the word. Having owned three businesses and helped many non-profits and other businesses with her marketing and fundraising strategies. Sandy holds a degree in Interior Design. She has a natural talent and love for the arts and design. Sandy’s vast background and business experiences, in and out of advertising, marketing and design, has provided her with a unique way of processing and looking at her life experience, making it possible to bring this book to you. Please enjoy the journey of reading this book. It is worth it.

Sandy professes she had angels all through her life, and when you read this book, I believe you will think she’s right. Her faith and hope have been coping tools for her to keep on keeping on. Sandy shares her faith and her heart as she imparts information and wisdom to women’s groups to shed a bit of light and to help mend the sprits of women, one woman at a time. It’s all about sharing and helping others. This is what she feels she is here for. After all, as Sandy says, “ We are all in this together, and we are all getting out of here the same way.” Blessings on your journey.
